Proverbs 22 : 6
Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.
The MOOT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY has been founded as a result of identifing the need for
alternative, individualised and quality based English medium school in the Moot area.
We cater for Grades RRR to 12
The educational concept is based on the following principles:
• •Students must be at subject levels where they can perform.
• •Students must set reasonable goals.
• •Students must be controlled and motivated.
• •Learning must be measurable.
• •Learning must be rewarded.
We believe that successful education of a child begins with the parent!
Procedures are set in place to provide the parent with several avenues of communication
with the school staff for the purpose of monitoring progress and providing feedback.
HOW WE ARE
Moot Christian Academy is about the only alternative to standard main stream government schools. We have built our foundation on Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Our aim is to uplift the society through value-based education that guides individuals to their place of full potential in ChristAdd the main advantages of your business that make it unique and the best. Add text why customers have to choose your products or services and what benefits they will get after the product is purchased. Write your own text, style it and press Done.
Moot Christian Academy was established in January 2011 on the premises of Rietfontein South Dutch Reformed Church, Cnr of Ben Swart Street and 16th Avenue, Rietfontein, which had previously been occupied by Queenswood Christian School. The school was founded by Jorrie Jordaan, who is still the Administrator, and had as staff members Mrs Lynn Price , with 2 students in Foundation Phase, Mrs Surina Marais, with 16 students ranging from Grade 3 – 12, Mrs Adri Smit, who was the Monitor for the bigger class, and Ms Sonja Botha, the secretary. Over the years students and staff members came and went and the school went through various stages of development. Moot Christian Academy produced many students who went on to make a huge success of their university studies and careers, and of whom we are very proud. We eventually started looking for premises which we could call our own, and during May 2017, signed a contract with the South African Women’s Federation for the current premises. We were ready to move in at the premises on 29th Avenue, Villieria, in December 2017, but we were met with fierce opposition from the then (unlawful) tenants occupying the school. Court cases and many trials and tribulations followed before they were evicted and we were able to move into the school properly at last during the latter half of 2018.
To God the Glory !
